New World Mosaics was nominated for an Oakland Indie Award in 2013. The Oakland Indie Awards is a One Pacific Coast Foundation initiative, in partnership with East Bay Express, encouraging people to recognize the economic, environmental and political impacts of supporting locally owned businesses and local artists.
